12 IAS candidates emerge successful

CHENNAI: Twelve students from Manidha Neyam IAS and IPS Free Coaching Centre here came out successful in the IAS interviews conducted recently, for which the results were announced on Friday.

A total of 26 students were trained by the Centre. Of them, six secured ranks in the top 200. Centre director Vaavoosi said they provided intensive coaching to the students, which included talks by serving officials and mock interviews. The Centre was started in 2007 by Manidha Neyam Charitable Trust to provide free coaching for IAS/IPS aspirants.

“Apart from free coaching, accommodation, food and conveyance to attend the interview is being provided by the Centre to students, which is a unique feature of this institution,” he said.
