Special Correspondent

MUMBAI: The DLF-Indian Premier League will hand over Rs. six crore to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, announced chairman Lalit Modi at the Wankhede Stadium on Friday.

“Each of the eight franchise teams will pay Rs. 50 lakh each. All our sponsors are committed to helping by way of financial aid worth Rs. four crore,” said Modi during the match between Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders here.

Jaipur, which was rocked by serial bomb blasts earlier this week, will host the match between Rajasthan Royals and Bangalore Royal Challengers on Saturday.
