Forex transaction at post office

COIMBATORE: The Department of Posts has entered into an agreement with Centurian Bank of Punjab for foreign exchange transactions.

A release from the Department said the following services have been made available at Coimbatore Head Post Office from April 28: sale and purchase of foreign currencies, sale and purchase of travellers’ cheques, sale of foreign currency denomination demand drafts, telegraphic/wire transfers, transactions against international credit cards and sale of store value cards.
