COIMBATORE: The Indian Air Force has invited applications from unmarried male candidates to work in the Group X (technical) trades. The selection will be held in September.

According to an official release, candidates should be born between January 1, 1988 and February 29, 1992 and should have passed intermediate or Plus Two with pass marks in mathematics and physics with a minimum 50 per cent in the aggregate.

Otherwise, he should have passed a three-year diploma course in engineering (mechanical/electrical/electronics/automobile/computer science/instrumentation technology/ information technology) with at least 50 per cent marks from a Government polytechnic institute.
