SAP training centre launched

EQUIPPING STUDENTS: Participants at the launch of the SQTL centre in Coimbatore.

COIMBATORE: Anna University, Coimbatore, and Infospectrum India Private Limited, Chennai, jointly launched a centre to conduct the SAP Business One Training Programme for graduates and students, here recently.

The training programme was launched by R. Radhakrishnan, Vice-Chancellor of Anna University, Coimbatore. Infospectrum is a certified education partner of SAP – the enterprise resource planning software solution.

Mr. Radhakrishnan pointed out the value of the training programme and its employment opportunities. He said in the competitive market individuals had to exhibit their business and technological skill to show that they enjoyed significant advantages over their peers.

“This is particularly true if your expertise includes SAP Business One software. Your proven knowledge of SAP applications and technology will be your passport to a wide range of opportunities. Benefits will be in the form of better job opportunities and higher salaries because of SAP experience,” the Vice-Chancellor said.

He said it helped to make better decision makers and strategists.

The training would make managers out of students even during the course of study.

Cal Kailasam, Vice-President, Infospectrum, said: “In order to meet the increasing demand of SAP B1 consultants such courses will help students get equipped and will make available a readymade pool of resources. SAP certified trainers will train the students. Certification will be by SAP Germany.”

S. Ramanathan, Director, School of Management Studies, and S. Balasubramanian, Director, Centre for Intellectual Property Rights, both from Anna University, Coimbatore, spoke.
