Child to do ‘burning illusion’ trick

KANNUR: Eight-year-old Raees Rasheed will present the trick ‘burning illusion’ at his magic show here on May 18. The show is being organised in connection with a family get-together of the All Kerala Gold and Silver Merchants’ Association district committee.

The organisers said at a press conference here on Friday that Raees would perform the fire-escaping feat with his body chained and locked. His father, magician K. Abdul Rasheed, who was also present at the press meet said that arrangements for his son’s stage show were being organised by a Nilambur-based magician.

Raees Rasheed is a Class III student of St. Joseph’s School, Taliparamba..
