Trains partially cancelled from Tiruvarur

TIRUCHI: The following trains are partially cancelled between Tiruvarur and Mayiladuthurai on May 18 due to the work of converting metre gauge bridge no. 132 near Tiruvarur to broad gauge as part of the gauge conversion work between Tiruvarur and Mayiladuthurai.

The bridge work will commence from 8 p.m. on May 17 and be over by 8 p.m. on May 18. Owing to this, Train No. 861 Mayiladuthurai – Karaikudi, Train No. 862 Karaikudi – Mayiladuthurai, Train No. 863 Mayiladuthurai – Karaikudi and Train No. 864 Karaikudi – Mayiladuthurai passengers are partially cancelled between Tiruvarur and Mayiladuthurai, a Southern Railway press release said.
