Basketball stadium

NEW DELHI: The Municipal Corporation of Delhi will construct an indoor basketball stadium at Ajmal Khan Park in Karol Bagh here as part of the preparations for the Commonwealth Games in 2010. MCD standing body chief Vijender Gupta said on Friday: “Work on the stadium will start during the first week of next month. The stadium will be constructed at a cost of Rs. 3.5 crore and will have a capacity for 2,000 spectators.”
