Belgaum: The KLE Society, which runs over 120 schools and colleges all over the State and other parts of the country, on Friday entered into a memorandum of understanding with a Chinese delegation consisting of Shen Wenping, deputy director of Jiaxing Municipal Bureau of Foreign Trade and Economic Co-operation; Wohong Liu, deputy chief, Foreign Investment Promotion Division; Nandu Idekhane, managing director, Aqualon Asia Pacific Inc, Shanghai; and Yogesh Wagh, convener.

The MoU, aimed at promotion and development of education and establishment of educational institutions in China, follows a proposal submitted to the KLE Society by the Government of China, according to KLES Chairman and Chancellor of KLE University Prabhakar B. Kore.
