Summer science camp

CHENNAI: A summer science camp for students of classes 8 to 12 would be organised by Science City on the Planetarium campus here from Monday through Friday.

The camp would have interactive sessions on various topics, including chemistry in daily life, importance of the kitchen garden and green leaf vegetables, first aid, accident and emergency medicine, social responsibility, media sciences, mineral and oil resources, water resources for the benefit of mankind, remote sensing, environment, role of reptiles and first aid for snake bites. Eminent scientists and academicians would conduct the sessions that would include live demonstrations.

Students interested in registering for the programme may contact the Science City in the Planetarium campus, Gandhi Mandapam Road, at 2445 4054 or 2445 4034 on all working days.
