Can science help check greed?

Staff Reporter

BANGALORE: When the talk was about innovation and creativity to improve one’s performance, Lokayukta N. Santosh Hegde could not stay out of it. “Innovate methodology by which society gets rid of people with greed,” he said in a lighter vein about innovation needed to fight corruption.

Speaking at the launch of a book, “Corporate Strategy Mindspower Innovation”, earlier in the week, Mr. Hegde said: “I hope the scientists and authors will develop a scientific methodology to control greed… even making use of stem cell research.”

Earlier, the author Rekha Shetty spoke about the book.
