NEW DELHI: The Left parties on Wednesday condemned serial blasts in Jaipur, saying the terrorist attack was part of a design to disrupt communal peace and harmony. The Polit Bureau of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) appealed to the people of Jaipur to remain calm and united. Condolences“The CPI(M) extends its heartfelt condolences to all the families who have suffered a grievous loss. No effort should be spared for medical treatment of the injured. The State government should take steps to provide relief and compensation to those who have lost their family members,” the party said in a statement here. The CPI(M) said the modus operandi of the explosions “reveal a common pattern with earlier attacks in other cities.” It said the security agencies have to take all steps to uncover the network of groups behind these outrages. The Central Secretariat of the Communist Party of India (CPI) demanded that the government give all help and fully compensate the families of those killed and injured. “Active steps should be taken to trace and apprehend the terrorist gangs that are responsible for this ghastly incident. They should be brought to book.” The CPI said that terror attack in Jaipur was a “deliberate attempt” to incite communal flare-up. “The vigilance and good sense of the people has frustrated such attempt. People from all communities have rushed to rescue and render aid to the affected victims,” it said. The Communist Party of India (ML) said that perpetrators of such crimes who intend to damage the communal harmony must be identified and given the maximum punishment. The party demanded that perpetrators of “this heinous crime against humanity” should be identified and no one should be spared or left out of the purview of investigations.
