Prime Minister sanctions ex gratia

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Wednesday sanctioned an ex gratia of Rs. 1 lakh each to the next of kin of those killed in Tuesday’s serial blasts in Jaipur.

It will be given from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund.

An ex gratia of Rs. 50,000 has also been sanctioned to those who were seriously injured, the Prime Minister’s Office said in a release here.
