Bill to amend VAT

CHENNAI: Commercial Taxes Minister S.N.M. Ubayadullah on Tuesday introduced in the Assembly a Bill to amend Tamil Nadu Value Added Taxes Act, 2006 to give effect to announcements on tax reduction made for some commodities. The Bill will replace notifications issued earlier. They were issued after the announcements took effect from April 1.
