It will also cover sick units Details will be kept confidential TIRUCHI: The district administration has informed that the fourth enumeration of all registered micro, small and medium enterprises will be carried out from May 15 to the end of June, as part of a nation-wide exercise. Enumerators approved by the District Industries Centre would visit the units and collect data pertaining to production capacity, raw materials and fuels used, products and services, employment details, total investment, and loan particulars. The enumeration will also cover sick units. In a statement issued here on Monday, Collector T. Soundiah requested the industrial units to cooperate with the enumerators by providing precise information. The details will be kept confidential, he said, adding that the information collected would be compiled to arrive at statistical data of units registered till March 3, 2007. In the event of enumerators not turning up at the units during the above specified period, the proprietors must get in touch with the District Industries Centre Ph. 2460331 or 2460823 or the Commissioner of Industries, Chepauk, Chennai, to provide the details.
