Passenger run over by bus

MADURAI: A passenger was killed when he was run over by a bus at the Mattuthavani integrated bus stand here late on Sunday.

According to police sources, C. Krishnaraj (35) of Idukki district (Kerala) was trying to board a State Express Transport Corporation bus from the front when he slipped and came under its wheels.

The victim was shifted to the Government Rajaji Hospital where he succumbed.
