Traffic restrictions for Re-dedication Day fete

Celebrations to be held at L.B. Stadium on May 14

HYDERABAD: The city police have imposed traffic restrictions on May 14 in connection with the Re-dedication Day celebrations at L.B. Stadium from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

At AR petrol pump junction, traffic will not be allowed towards BJR statue and will be diverted towards Nampally or Ravindra Bharathi.

Vehicles coming from Abids and Gunfoundry will not be allowed towards BJR statue and Basheerbagh junction and will be diverted at Gunfoundry towards Chapel Road.

Traffic coming from Basheerbagh junction towards Abids will be diverted at Basheerbagh junction towards Hyderguda and King Koti Road.

Vehicles coming from Old MLA Quarters towards Basheerbagh will be diverted at Old MLA quarters towards Himayatnagar ‘Y’ junction.

Motorists coming from Narayanguda towards Old MLA quarters will be diverted at Himayatnagar ‘Y’ junction towards Liberty.

Vehicles coming from Rajmohalla road towards Old MLA quarters will be diverted at King Koti or Narayanguda.

Traffic coming from Liberty towards Basheerbagh junction will be diverted at Liberty junction towards Himayatnagar.

Vehicles coming from Basheerbagh to Traffic Control Room will be diverted at Basheerbagh junction towards Liberty.

Motorists coming from All India Radio office towards Basheerbagh junction via Police Control Room will be diverted towards Nampally Road.

Parking places

Following places have been identified for parking vehicles bringing people to the meeting.

Vehicles coming from Mahbubnagar district and Srisailam Road will be parked at Exhibition Grounds. Vehicles coming from Nalgonda, Warangal, Medak and Karimnagar districts will parked at NTR stadium at Indira Park. Vehicles coming from Ranga Reddy district will be parked at Public Gardens, CWC grounds and Goshamahal police stadium.

Vehicles coming from the twin cities will be parked at Nizam College grounds through gate no.3 at Basheerbagh crossroads.

For Members of Parliament, MLCs, MLAs and senior government officials, parking place is provided at Aliya College, Mahbubia College and office of the Director of Agriculture and SCERT.

Officials on duty and media representatives will park their vehicles near Traffic Control Room.

Vehicles of Ministers will be parked at Tennis Court complex in L.B. Stadium.
