Health expo opens to warm response

HYDERABAD: A two-day ‘Health Expo 2008’ organised at the Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FAPCCI) drew enthusiastic response from people. About two dozen presentations were made by eminent speakers in the technical sessions.

In a press release, FAPCCI president Atluri Subba Rao said the presentations included basic ones on the Vedas, about the fundamental principles of naturopathy and yoga.

There were also those on therapies for chronic diseases, maintenance of body energy balance, combating stress, siddha sciences and life research.

According to the release, business transactions were struck at the ‘New Age Mall’, an exhibition showcasing various health products and services. Besides, there were a number of trade enquiries.
