Tributes paid to Asaf Ali

NEW DELHI: Deputy Mayor Divya Jaiswal and other senior members of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi paid glowing tributes to freedom fighter Asaf Ali on the occasion of his 119th birth anniversary on Sunday

Addressing the gathering, Mr. Jaiswal said: “Asaf Ali visualised Delhi as a clean and progressive city. He was elected municipal councillor for two successive decades and was a frank and fearless social worker. The best tribute we can pay him is to emulate his deeds.”
