VISAKHAPATNAM: Ameya World School organised a painting competition for children at Visakha Museum here on Sunday. Over 100 children in the age group between 6 and 14 years participated. Mayor of Greater Visakha Municipal Corporation P. Janardhan Rao visited the venue and spent some time with the participating children. He urged the school management to organise more such events that would highlight the latent creative talents of children. Managing director of the school M.S.S. Mohan said that the school had been set up in Bheemili and was on par with any of the international schools in the region. He also informed that a dance competition for children would be held on Tuesday at VUDA Children Theatre from 4 p.m. onwards.
