HYDERABAD: Indian Airlines and Royal Club were locked in a three-all draw in the A-2 Division hockey league championship at the Begumpet Police Stadium here on Saturday.

In the B-Division league at the AOC Grounds, BHEL (R&D) defeated Independent Club 3-2 with L. Janak Kumar scoring a hat-trick.

For the losers Sainath and B. Srinivas were on target.

In another match, Cross Wings drubbed Friends Club 6-1 with Ram Mohan and Ritesh scoring a brace each and Prabhu, Manikant one each.

For the loser, Rejo Kurien reduced the margin.

D. Prakhya outwitted T. V. Amruth in the third round game for juniors of the 25th Brilliant Trophy chess tournament here.
