THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Deccan has teamed up with the Forest Department and the Periyar Tiger Reserve for an eco-tourism initiative towards achieving responsible and sustainable tourism in the region. ‘Simplifly Periyar’ aims at preserving the tiger population and biodiversity in the reserve at Thekkady. Under the initiative, wildlife enthusiasts and leisure travellers will get the opportunity to travel, stay at and explore the wildlife of Periyar. Ten packages‘Simplifly Periyar’ offers 10 eco-tourism packages, inclusive of travel and stay. Visitors will be put up in specially crafted eco-lodges and can take part in adventure activities. The packages are exclusively for the guests of Deccan.
