Bangalore: Vinay’s 71 set up Heron CC’s 55-run victory over JPNCA in the M. Vishveswaraiah Memorial inter-academy Twenty20 cricket tournament here on Friday.

The scores: Herons CC 226 for six in 20 overs (Vinay 71, Santhosh Gowda 50, Arvind five for 32) bt JPNCA 171 for six in 20 overs (Arvind 55).

Canara Blues 243 for three in 20 overs (Charan Reddy 88, Bharat Prashanth 67) bt Jungle Lodges 80 for eight in 20 overs.
