VIJAYAWADA: East Godavari defeated Mahaboobnagar 20-4 and Nellore 11-3 in the boys’ league fixtures of the Andhra Pradesh sub-junior basketball championship at Khammam on Saturday.

The results: League: Boys: Khammam bt Prakasam 23-7; Karimnagar bt Warangal 26-8; East Godavari bt Mahaboobnagar 20-4; Hyderabad bt Krishna 19-5; Prakasam bt Kurnool 18-1; Guntur bt Karimnagar 12-4; Krishna bt Chittoor 18-12; Anantapur bt Medak 15-5; Vizag bt Ranga Reddy 13-8; East Godavari bt Nellore 11-3.
