Youth killed in accident

ATTUR: A youth was killed and another sustained injuries when a goods auto rickshaw dashed against a motorcycle in Talavasal on Friday. Police said Dhandapani (19) of Aalamarathupatti village and his friend Suresh were returning home after visiting Talavasal when the accident took place. He died on the spot. Suresh sustained injuries and was admitted to Attur Government Hospital. He was then referred for further treatment to Salem Government Medical College Hospital.
