‘What we lack is a synergised effort in achieving goals.’ THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: India can emerge as one of the leading countries in aerospace industry if design, development and manufacturing capacity can be integrated, according to Chairman of ISRO G. Madhavan Nair. He was inaugurating a national seminar on ‘Aerospace Expanding Frontiers: Technologies and Challenges’ organised by the local chapter of the Aeronautic Society of India and Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) at the VSSC here on Friday. Dr. Nair said the successful space programme of India was a testimony to its capabilities in all areas of space technologies. “What we lack is probably a synergised effort in achieving goals,” he said. The ISRO had shown that it could come up with the technology required for any space system, he added. UntappedFormer Chairman of Air India and president of the society V. Suresh, director, Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, enumerated the future of space programme for the next 25 years. Director of VSSC K.
