Boys top ECET
HYDERABAD: The Engineering Common Entrance Test (ECET) for lateral entry into B.Tech courses of engineering colleges registered a pass percentage of 74.53 with 10,035 candidates clearing the examination. The results were released here on Thursday.
In the Civil Engineering stream A. Yuvaraju of Tenali got the first rank scoring 117 marks while Ramisetti Harish of Ibrahimpatnam in Krishna district bagged the top rank in Electrical and Electronics Engineering scoring 164 marks. In the Mechanical Engineering stream Vinod Talluri of Rajahmundry scored 140 marks to take the first rank while G.K. Aswin Kumar of Hyderabad got the first place in Computer Science and Engineering stream getting 123 marks. In the Electronics and Communication Engineering stream, V. Phani Kumar of Vijayawada got the top rank with 147 marks . Suresh Kumar Adimalla of Nadigudem in Nalgonda district bagged the first rank in Biotechnology stream with 51 marks while Kaluvala Deepika of Janpak in Warangal district secured the first rank in Pharmacy with 154 marks.
