Appointment hailed

HYDERABAD: Andhra Pradesh Ryotu Sangham has hailed the appointment of Suryadevara Mahendra Dev, Director of Centre for Economic and Social Studies here as the Chairman of the Commission for Agriculture Costs and Prices.

In a statement, Mr. K. Ramakrishna, president of the Sangham said the economist had a deep understanding of agriculture and farmers problems .

The Jana Chaitanya Vedika, has also welcomed Prof. Dev’s appointment.
