BANGALORE: Bangalore Golf Club’s main team and the seniors’ team beat Kolar Gold Fields Golf Club in the inter-club tournament played at the KGFGC on May 3 and 4. In the main team event, BGC won 10-1/2 to7-1/2 (singles 8-1/2 to 3-1/2 and doubles 2- 4) and in the seniors’ team BGC won 7-5 (singles 1-3 and doubles 6-2). In the Ravi Kirloskar memorial tournament played last month, V. Shasikanth won the 0-13 handicap section with a score of 52 nett. Mohammed Akber (57 nett) was runner-up. Other results: 14-24 handicap: 1. K.S. Suresh (52 nett), 2. Bina Sreedhar (56 nett); Kirloskar Electric Cup (seniors 60 +): 1. Siddalingaswamy (58 nett), 2. K.S. Manjunathaiah (60).
