NEW DELHI: “We lacked a good fifth bowler and that made the difference,” admitted Delhi Daredevils captain Virender Sehwag after the team’s last-ball defeat to Chennai Super Kings by four wickets in the Indian Premier League match at the Ferozeshah Kotla ground here on Thursday. “Since we had bowled well in Mumbai, we thought of taking an extra batsman (Manoj Tewari instead of all-rounder Rajat Bhatia), but as things turned out he was not needed,” explained Sehwag. SatisfyingAlbie Morkel, who hoisted the Delhi skipper for three sixes during his crucial cameo, described his innings as “really satisfying. I would have targeted any bowler. It was just that it happened to be Sehwag,” said the South African, sharing a smile with Sehwag. He said the team was confident of getting 15 runs off the final over.
