Mangalore Refinery pays 12 % dividend

MANGALORE: Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL) has registered a net profit of Rs. 1,272 crore during 2007-08 as compared to Rs. 525 crore in the previous year. Exports during the year were Rs. 11,232 crore. The turnover was up 14 per cent at Rs. 37,339 crore against Rs. 32,208 crore. The board has recommended a dividend of 12 per cent against 8 per cent in the previous year. — Staff Correspondent
