BANGALORE: The Central Silk Technological Research Institute, BTM Layout, Madivala, will observe National Technology Day on May 11 and will throw open its premises to public between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on that day. An array of technologies developed for the silk industry will be exhibited and demonstrated on the occasion. A film Silk Care will be screened educating people as to how to wash, iron, store and remove stains on silk fabric. For details, call 26282316.
