CUTTACK: Chinmay Mohanty, a young advocate of Orissa High Court has been elected for the second time to the State Bar Council, elections for which were held last month. Bars of the entire State had voted to elect the 25-member council for which 104 advocates of different bars were in the fray. At least 41 lawyers from different bars of Cuttack district alone were in the fray from which Mohanty is reported to have received the maximum first preference votes. The 35-year-old Mohanty was also a member of the dissolved Bar Council and was perhaps the youngest member to have found a berth in the prestigious council.
