Junior engineer suspended

NEW DELHI: A junior engineer of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi has been suspended following an incident where two senior citizens were locked up in their house at Tilak Nagar during the sealing drive on Monday. Other senior officials involved in the matter have been issued show-cause notices.

Mayor Arti Mehra has also advised officials conducting the drive to be more careful while carrying out sealing of premises.
