Korea qualifies

Victoria (Canada): Korea defeated Italy 5-0 to take the last available berth in the women’s Olympic hockey tournament on Sunday. Korea has participated in every Olympic Games since 1988, collecting silver medals in 1998 at home in Seoul and again in 1996 in Atlanta, USA.

Korea joins Argentina, Australia, China, Germany, Great Britain, Japan, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Spain, South Africa and the USA for the Beijing Olympic hockey tournament.
