AMRITSAR: The body of a 50-year-old Pakistani national, who died at his sister’s place in Delhi recently, was handed over to the Pakistani authorities at the Attari check post here on Thursday.

Shaukat Ali, a resident of Multan, had come to India by the Samjhauta Express on April 22 to pay a visit to his sister who lives in Delhi.

A diabetic, Shaukat Ali fell ill at his sister’s place and was admitted in a serious condition to a hospital where he breathed his last on April 29.
