Varsity’s special permission to complete law course

CHENNAI: The Madras University will give special permission to students of B.L. Degree (three year NS-RR and five year Inted), who have already exhausted maximum permissible chances to complete the course.
A decision in this regard was taken at the Syndicate of the University, a release said on Tuesday The students who were admitted to the course up to the academic year 1996-97 could appear for the arrear subjects in the examinations to be held in May/June this year on payment of penal fee in addition to the prescribed examination fee. Application forms are being issued in the enquiry section at the Centenary Building . The candidates should submit their examination application form through the college in which he/she had studied.
The last date for submission of examination applications is May 5 without penalty and May 12 is the last date for submitting the applications with penalty of Rs 100, the release said.
