X-ray unit donated

CHENNAI: The Lions Club of Marina Beach has donated an X-ray unit to the Crescent Hospital in Royapettah. The equipment was inaugurated on Sunday by Lions Club (324 A1) District Governor Govindasamy Thangaraj. Participating in the function, Prince of Arcot Nawab Mohammed Abdul Ali said the hospital catered to the needs of several poor patients and the new facility, costing Rs.5.25 lakh, would come in very useful. He also urged the State government to improve the quality of treatment offered in government hospitals.
