Punjab Police beats IOB

TIRUPUR: Indian Overseas Bank went down fighting to Punjab Police 25-18, 23-25, 23-25, 25-20, 8-15 in its opening league clash of the all-India volleyball tournament at the Nanjappa HSS courts here on Monday night.

After winning the opening set, IOB lost its way.

Earlier, Southern Railway raced to its first win, defeating Kerala State Electricity Board (Thiruvananthapuram) 25-16, 25-22, 22-25, 25-23.
