State U-17 chess meet

CHENNAI: The Namakkal District Chess Foundation will conduct the Tamil Nadu State under-17 championship for boys and girls at SKV School, Paramathi, Velur Taluk (Namakkal District) from May 10 to 15.

Each District can send four players to each category. Players born on or after January 1, 1991 are eligible. The Tamil Nadu team to take part in the National Championship to be held in Puducherry will be selected based on the performance in this tournament.
