Karunanidhi congratulates ISRO scientists

CHENNAI: The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, M. Karunanidhi, has congratulated the scientists at the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) for successfully putting into orbit the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle-C9 equipped with 10 satellites from Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh, on Monday.

Signal feat

In his message, Mr. Karunanidhi said this signal feat by the ISRO scientists signified the achievement and growth in the specialised field of science and technology especially among the global comity of nations.

Congratulates Sonia

The Chief Minister also congratulated the Chairperson of the United Progressive Alliance Government, Sonia Gandhi, the Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh and the Chairman of the ISRO, G. Madhavan Nair.
