STEP IN TIME: Children having fun at the camp on Saturday.

CHENNAI: A paper plate was transformed into a mask and a paper cup was turned into a pen stand by the creative fingers of children at a summer camp organised by Landmark book store.

At the finale of the Chrysalis ‘busy bee’ fun camp on Saturday, children displayed the skills they had picked up at the camp.

Be it craft-making, public speaking or dancing, the children were keen to perform before the audience.

As parents looked on indulgently, some of the children carved potatoes into the shape Remy, the rat of Ratatouille fame.

A fashion show was also held. The baby bees (junior category) had a trainer to show them their dance steps while the senior bees worked out many steps on their own. Children of ages 5-12 participated in the seven-day camp. Fun activities with Science and Maths were also part of the programme.
