Festschrift for Indra

CHENNAI: C.T. Indra, Professor and Chair of the Department of English, University of Madras, was presented with a festschrift for her pioneering role in the promotion of studies in postcolonial literatures (Australian and Canadian) in South India.

Brought together under the title of “New Bearings in English Studies,” the articles have been contributed by authors and critics from India, the U.K., the U.S. , Canada, and Australia. Gayatri Krishnaswamy, art management consultant, presented the festschrift, published by Orient Longman, to Dr. Indra.
