15 nominations withdrawn

Chamarajanagar: Forty candidates are in the fray from the four Assembly constituencies in Chamarajanagar district after 15 candidates withdrew nomination papers on Saturday.

As many as 14 candidates are contesting from Hanur constituency, nine candidates from Kollegal, 12 candidates from Chamarajanagar and five candidates are contesting from Gundlepet constituency. The district will go to the polls on May 10.
