Chandan strikes for Secretariat

NEW DELHI: Chandan Singh scored the match-winner as Central Secretariat defeated Delhi Development Authority (DDA) 1-0 in an ‘A’ division DSA institutional super-league at the Ambedkar Stadium here on Friday.

Central Secretariat qualified for the final with 12 points from five matches. DDA wound up with four points from five games.

In another match in the ‘A’ division, Airports Authority of India outplayed Indian Airlines 8-1 to take its tally to 10 points from five matches.

The third match between AIIMS and Urban Development Ministry had to be abandoned nine minutes before close owing to bad light. AIIMS led 4-1 and the game would resume on Saturday. — Special Correspondent
