Dress code for cheer groups

Mumbai: The Navi Mumbai Police Commissioner, Ramrao Wagh has cautioned IndiaWin Sports, franchise owner of IPL team, Mumbai Indians that the cheer groups of the home and visiting teams should adhere to a dress code.

Mumbai Indians plays Deccan Chargers at the D.Y. Patil International Stadium, Nerul, Navi Mumbai on Sunday, April 27. “We have been told that any instance of wardrobe malfunctioning will be severely dealt with and hot pants and exposure of deep cleavage will not be tolerated,” said Kaushik Roy, Director IndiaWin Sports.

IndiaWin Sports has advised Deccan Chronicle Holdings, franchise owner of Deccan Chargers, accordingly. “In fact we have asked them to provide us with pictures of the team’s cheer group members by Saturday morning. Each team is allowed an equal number of cheer leaders,” said Mr. Roy. — Special Correspondent
