Ankit shines

NEW DELHI: A five-wicket haul by Ankit Dabas guided Sonnet Club to a thrilling five-run victory over Rohtak Road Gymkhana in the final of the sixth RC Sharma Reebok cricket tournament at the Bharat Nagar ground.

Ankit Dabas was adjudged the ‘best all-rounder’, while the best batsman and bowler awards were bagged by Mohit Sharma and Vikas Hatwala respectively.

The scores: Sonnet CC 206 for four in 40 overs (Samarth Singh 71) beat Rohtak Road Gymkhana 201 in 39.1 overs (Mohit Sharma 99, Jaideep Chouhan 55, Ankit Dabas five for 34).
