>>Shane Warne’s team Rajasthan Royals has not played against Mumbai Indians as mentioned in three places in the report, “Warne praises his young, talented team” (Sport, April 24, 2008). Warne’s impressive spell and Ravindra Jadeja’s brilliant knock were against Kings XI Punjab, as pointed out by quite a few readers.

>>“All eyes on Messi-Ronaldo clash” (Sport, April 23, 2008) on the Champions League football wrongly reported that the winner would face Arsenal or Liverpool. It should have been Chelsea or Liverpool. Arsenal lost to Liverpool in the quarterfinals. The report also wrongly spelt Schalke as Shalke.
