CPI to contest two seats in Bangalore

Bangalore: The Communist Party of India will contest two Assembly seats — Sarvagnanagar and BTM Layout — in Bangalore.

Bangalore district secretary of the party M.D. Harigovind said district committee member and secretary of the Bharatinagar unit of the party Gilbert Selin will contest the Sarvagnanagar seat and district committee member and convenor of the women’s wing of the party Shashikala Belgagali will contest the BTM Layout seat. — Special Correspondent
