Increasing demand for women bodyguards

Mumbai: With increasing demand for trained female bodyguards by women celebrities and corporates, a consultant has launched a special programme for women.

Raj Talele has announced special workshops for women, training them physically and mentally to work as bodyguards.

“In Mumbai there is a growing demand for women bodyguards for VIPs and celebrities. However in the absence of trained woman power, all vacancies are filled up by men,” Mr. Talele said.

The participants are between 17 and 30 years of age and their intense physical and mental training sessions are being held at Worli for two hours daily. — PTI
